Bello’s Inauguration: Group Assures Of All Inclusive Government

As Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has swung into action for his second term in office, a non governmental organization, Kogi Coalitions of Umbrella Development Association  has given an assurance that his administration will carry every section of the state along in the scheme of things irrespective of political, ethnic and religious affiliations.

Speaking to journalists in Lokoja immediately after Bello’s inauguration on Monday, the chairman of the group, Dr. Adeiza Abdulrahaman  described the emergence of the Governor as a  right step in the right direction.

He noted  that Bello’s emergence as the executive governor of Kogi state right from the beginning of his first tenure was Gods’ divine with a promise that he will certainly  consolidate on his earlier achievements for Kogites through more good works.

The chairman therefore, urged Kogites to continue to pray for the governor so that God will use him to accomplish what he had designed for the state in his second term.

Abdulrahaman  also noted that as  an advocates of good governance, KCUDA will make haste to contribute their quota towards the success of Governor Bello’s administration under his second journey of governance in the state.

The  chairman solicited the support of all and sundry in the war against looters of the state resources which he said had been aggressively pursued by Governor Bello’s administration right from his first tenure to date.

He however, reminded Governor Bello of the need to redeem all his Blueprint programmes of action as outlined in his inaugural speech for his second coming.

Abdulrahaman also called on the governor to sustain his detribalized posture in governance which according  him had contributed immensely for the prevailing peace and unity among the various ethnic groups in the state.
