… Bello Inaugurates Projects, Performs Groundbreaking Of Idah-Aganegbode Bridge Construction on Saturday

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole over the weekend, lunched  the campaign for the re-election bid of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Osinbajo, while presenting the APC flag to Yahaya Bello, expressed optimism that he would emerge victorious in the election.

The Vice President appealed to the electorate to come out en masse to vote for Bello.

In his remarks, the National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole described Bello as a tested and trusted politician, who has performed excellently during his first tenure.

He said the party’s candidate has passion for the sustainable development of the state, adding that he would not disappoint the people of the state.

“If you know where this state was during the reign of the PDP and now, you will understand there is a need to vote for Bello for continuity.

“Bello has the capacity to translate his vision into reality and that is why I am appealing to you to vote for him during the election and he will not disappoint,” Oshiomole said.

The governor who is seeking reelection, in his address, urged his supporters to work hard to ensure the victory of the party; saying that the party will go on a door-to-door and village-to-village campaign so as to make sure that the APC is reelected.

Governor Kayode Fayemi, the Chairman, Nigeria Governor’s Forum and Governor of Ekiti State, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, his Kwara State counterpart, AbdulRahman Abdulrazak and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, were also at the rally.

Also at the rally were, the Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani, former Governor of Bauchi State, Mahammed Abdullahi Abubakar, Serving Senators, House of Representatives members and the APC National Women leader, Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa and all members of the APC National Working Committee, among others.

Then on Saturday Governor  Bello began his campaign at Idah,  the traditional headquarters of the Igala Kingdom in the Eastern Senatorial District of the state.

Bello used the opportunity to inaugurate a good number of completed projects at the College of Health Technology, Idah and performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 5.6 kilometre Idah-Aganegbode Bridge to give glamour to his campaign.

Bello reiterated his commitment to providing state of the art infrastructures to enable the people of the state enjoy modern healthcare delivery.

The Governor in company of the entire members of State Executive Council, Party leaders and faithful of the All Progressives Congress (APC) commissioned the Hajia Rashidat Bello College Modern Clinic that was renovated and equipped with state of the art equipment.

Other projects inaugurated by Gov. Bello include, the Micheal Ameh Oboni Medical laboratory, Renovated and well equipped Science and Pharmacy Laboratory, College sachet Water factory.

He also laid the foundation stone for the Edward Onoja Administrative Complex, assured of his commitment to the wellbeing of citizenry.
