The case between Abubakar Ibrahim VS the PDP governorship flag bearer in Kogi state, Musa Wada, PDP and others following the out come of the party’s primaries was on Wednesday mentioned at the State High Court sitting in Lokoja.
The case was subsequently adjourned till October 7th, 2019 to enable parties involved in the matter to adhere to abridgement for the purpose of time.
Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim the runners up during the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election had approached the court seeking for an enforcement of his rights that he won the party’s primaries held on 3 September, 2019.
The matter which came up for mention on Wednesday had to be adjourned for parties to abridge the time, using the front loading system.
The Kogi State Governorship election comes up on 16 November, 2019, with 23 political parties set to slug it out.
However, the PDP is presently facing crisis following the refusal of the former governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and his son, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim to work for the victory of the party during the November 16 Governorship polls.
It would be recalled that the party had declared Engr. Musa Wada as the winner of the primary election held in Lokoja.
