Kogi 2019: APGA Elects New Exco

The All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA), in Kogi state has mapped out effective strategies to unseat the incumbent governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello come November governorship election.

Already the party said it has inaugurated its state executive committee comprising people with integrity and credibility whose input it considers would pave way for the party to flush out Bello from Lugard House in the November governorship election.

While expressing the assurance of making impressive outing in the next gubernatorial election, the party said, “the executive committee members have all it takes to ensure its victory at the polls overwhelmingly.”

The election which was conducted in free and peaceful atmosphere at the party’s Secretariat in Lokoja yesterday, was generally accepted by the congress.

The Chairman and Secretary of the electoral committee, Mallam Baba Aliyu Attah  and Hon Adams Aikoye were applauded by the congress for the credible outcome of the election based on the acceptability without rancour.

A member of the executive,  Mr Ben Iyke noted that with the ultimate objective of ensuring victory in the next gubernatorial election,  all hands must be on  deck for APGA to excel.

“I urge all the newly elected members into the executive chambers of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Kogi State to be ready to make sacrifice  towards the victory of the party” he said.

While appreciating individuals who contributed both in cash and other manner for the growth of the party in Kogi State,  Hon Ben Iyke stated that people like Sani Teidi should step forward for service to his fatherland.

In his acceptance speech, the newly inaugurated chairman, Abdulzeez M Arikora said that the time to make it to the next point of agreement is now. He urged members to be proactive in relating with all stakeholders.
