Following the 58 per cent won by the ruling African National Congress in the May 8 parliamentary election, President Cyril Ramaphosa would be sworn into office for another term in office.
He may however do without his Deputy President David Mabuza for a while because of anti-party activities. The ANC integrity commission wants him to address the body on reputational issues concerning him. If he sticks to his guns and fails to clear his name, Ramaphosa may have to appoint another deputy president.
The party accused him of corruption and siphoning money from the state. He has denied the allegations.
