The Director-General of Alex Otti Campaign Organization, Dr. Max Nduaguibe has said the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, will resist alleged plans by the Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP, to rig the general election in Abia state.

Nduaguibe stated this while reacting to the burning down of the new office building of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Umu-Ikaa in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

He said it is beyond coincidence that the incidence occurred barely two days after Otti’s governorship campaign in both the area and Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area witnessed a massive turn out of the people.

He alleged that the incidence was one of the plot by the present administration in the state and the ruling PDP to rig the election in favour of the party.

When contacted on the phone, Don Ubani, the publicity secretary of the PDP denied the allegation, challenging the APGA to make its evidence available to the public.

The party spokesman, who described the allegation as a lie, said it will be nonsensical for the PDP as a disciplined party to engage in such dastardly act.
