The National Union of Air Transport Employees, NUATE, has directed its members nationwide to come out together on Friday to protest against the delay in the release of condition of service of all agencies and affiliates by the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission.
According to its General Secretary, Mr. Phillips Nkiru, in a statement, the directive was issued after an emergency meeting by all presidents and general secretaries including other key officers of the union on Monday, December 10.
He said that at the Monday meeting, “It was resolved that a nationwide congress of all workers in the aviation industry be convened. All in the aviation industry are enjoined to come out en mass on Friday, 14 December 2018 in their various stations to mobilize, sensitize and protest on the delay on the release on condition of services of all agencies, namely, FAAN, NAMA, NCAA, NINET NCAT and AIB”
