2023: LP Trains Polling Agents in Lagos

The Lagos State chapter of the Labour Party has concluded the training for its polling agents ahead of the upcoming presidential poll on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Chairman of the Compilation and Verifications of Polling Agents Committee of the Labour Party, Engr. D.B. Gambo, concluded a three-day Train-the-Trainers programme for Conveners from various support groups across the Northwest and Southwest of the country, who will in turn retrain Agents of Polling Stations in these two senatorial zones.

The online training programme, which commenced on Wednesday, 15 February 2023 was concluded on Saturday 18, February 2023.

Comrd. March Oyinki, Convener of Movement for Change Worldwide (MFCW), was one of the instructors trained and mandated to retrain Polling Agents in Lagos State.

The training of Polling Agents under the Eti-Osa and Ibeju Lekki Local Govern,ent Areas, which was held at No. 4, John Ejakita Street off Alfa Beach Road, Lekki, Lagos, commenced on Monday, 20 February, where Comrade Oyinki conducted the first set of beneficiaries of a series of training programmes scheduled for Agents of Polling Stations in various LGAs in the State.

Eti-Osa LGA Chairman and PCC Assistant Coordinator for Lagos State, Comrade John Zino, who sponsored the Eti-Osa lap of the training, was also an attendee in the training that had in attendance over 35 polling agents from Eti-Osa and Ibeju Lekki.
