Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho, former Minister of Interior and the All Progressive Grand Alliance ( APGA) flag bearer in the 2015 governorship elections in Imo  State,  has lauded Nick Opara-Ndudu , describing him  as a capable hand who  has  the capacity to drive the state to  the path of glory.

Speaking at the  formal declaration by Opara-Ndudu to contest the Imo 2019 governorship  election  on the platform  of the APGA , Iheanacho lauded the aspirant  for  putting together workable  solutions  on the development  challenges  facing the state and urged party supporters to rally round him to make sure he achieved his goal to emerge candidate and win at the polls.

He said the solutions packaged by Opara-Ndudu are strong enough to address the intractable issues currently facing the state.

In a well attended ceremony in Owerri, on Friday, the Imo state capital,  Opara-ndudu unveiled  his blueprint, which he said  would guide him in his effort  to arrest the ruin being witnessed in every sector of the state  economy.

The former bank boss told the cheering and visibly excited  audience made up  of party  stalwarts and other stakeholders  through  his professional  career in banking where he rose to the very  top and his trajectory  in the public  sector where he also  served Imo people  in four different  capacities,  the high point being the attainment  of the highest  internally  generated revenue  that the state witnessed  while the portfolio  was under  his watch.

His plan themed: “Imo- Creating Pathways to Prosperity and Growth”, covers education,  agriculture,  industrialization,  health,  land reform,  tourism, housing among others.

He also promised to build on the legacies of Chief Sam Mbakwe, late governor of old Imo  State, by creating  massive employment  through  the linkage between  agriculture  and industry.
