…Taraba Vows to track and arrest looters

The police in Lagos state have arrested over 200 alleged looters and promise to prosecute them. The alleged looters who were paraded at the State Command Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force were picked from their houses by policemen based on intelligence.
Confirming the arrest, Commissioner of Police in the state, Hakeem Odumosu, said his men worked with intelligence, stating that “these are no #endsars protesters that we have here. All of them are persons we arrested based on our intelligence. We went after them and got them.”
Meanwhile Odumosu’s counterpart on Niger State, Aduma Usamn has disclosed that 17 persons had been arrested in Minna, the State capital, believed to be inciting people to embark on protests and then destroy privater and public properties. He said that those arrested were not form Niger state and pleaded with parents to restrain their children from joining the hoodlums to cause mayhem.
In Taraba state, the Deputy Governor vowed that looters would be arrested and prosecuted. He made the vow after an inspection of building and offices vandalised and looted in Jalingo, the state capital
