Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture
Acting Director -General of the National Broadcasting Corporation, NBC, Prof Armstrong Idachaba has been replaced by Balarabe Ilelah.
Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed in a statement announced the change of guard on Friday in Abuja. In a statement signed by Segun Adeyemi, his special assistant,Mohammed said Ilelah’s appointment which was approved by President Muhamadu Buhari is for a tenure of five years in the first instance.
Ilelah, a veteran broadcaster, takes over from Prof Armstrong Idachaba who was appointed on Acting capacity since February 2020 following the suspension of Mallam Is’haq Modibbo Kawu.
