Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonanya Onu has said that four Nigerian scientist have taken up the challenge of his ministry for N36 million to scientists who provide answers to end Lassa Fever and Conoravirus in the country.
The unnamed three scientists have submitted proposals, he said.
The Minister who was speaking at a Youths Leadership summit in Jos, the Plateau state capital, said, “as a country we must have our own answers to Lassa Fever and Coronavirus diseases. We have what it takes to make Nigeria one of the scientific and technologically developed countries in the world. Four proposals from different scientists have been submitted to the Ministry to meet what it takes to treat Coronavirus and Lassa Fever”
He urged the youths to be ready to work and take Nigeria to her rightful place in scientific development in the world.
