Brand new boss of the Directorate of Security Services, DSS, Mr Matthew Seyeifa has pledged to rebrand the agency for effectively delivery of services in the national interest.
Seyeifa who was appointed in acting capacity following the sacking of Lawal Daura on the heels of the blockade of the National Assembly on Tuesday, said in Abuja on Thursday that the agency would review its past actions in a bid to humanize the service.
He said:“We will embark in the review of cases in detention, public misconception of our duty. We will take all steps to help the rule of law in a season with divergent views at play. We will not be sessional or biased but committed to the principle of national interest.. but not be cowed”
