UEFA Semis: Liverpool Drub Roma 5-2

Perotti drives the goalie left to score the penalty for Roma

Liverpool proved too superb for visiting Roma at Anfiled, netting goals with ease in record time to make it 5-2 at  full time in 93 minutes  though Roma got a crucial two away goals that makes it completely futile to write them off until it is over. Though Barca looked poor on that day Roma came from a 41- defeat to route the Spanish giants 3-0 in the return leg, Liverpool may be too hot to handle if they maintain the current  tip top form that made them had a walkover at Man City the previous day too.

Mo Salah scored two qiuck goals in the 35th and 45th minutes, followed by Sadio Mane’s  in the 56th minutes and two from Roberto Firmino in the 61st and 68th.

But never say die talismanic Edin Dzeko opened scoring  in the 81st minutes and a penalty from Diego Perotti in the 85th min gave the visitors two crucial goals to give them a breathing space to, possibly, plot a miracle come back in a fortnight.
