Three Escape Death As Jeep Rammed Into Shop In Kogi.

Three hawking children escaped death within a whisker on Monday as a jeep rammed into a shop at Adankolo junction in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.

The accident occurred when a woman driving a jeep with Registration number KSF 469 EL believed to be a learner in company of a male occupant coming from Adankolo village lost control hitting three hawkers at the junction before plunging into a shop own by JB photos.

One of the hawkers , a twelve year old boy simply identified as Abdulahi said it was the hands of God that saved him, saying all he heard was gbam and latter saw himself on the ground.

He commended the passersby for their timely assistant that evacuated them from the wreckage.

Our Correspondent who visited the scene immediately it occurred, reports that the driver and a male occupant escaped for fear of being lynched by the angry mob.

As at the time of filling the report , the three children , a girl and two boys , aged between , 12 and 14 were still in pains from the injuries , even as effort to contact their parents is not yielding result.

Recalled that a trailer laden with coal properties on Saturday plunged into a residential building at zone 8 area of Lokoja, although no life was lost.
