S/Cup: Lampard Fails To Make History As Liverpool Beat Chelsea 5-4 on Penalty

Liverpool take the Super Cup

This is the match Frank Lampard would have used to repair the disaster in the Chelsea 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford in the hands of Man U League Match but it never happened. His boys pulled all the stops to end the match 2-2 at extra time but the resulting penalty shoot out blew away his chances:

Hear Don Hutchison, ex-Liverpool midfielder: Chelsea were a far better side than anyone who judged them on the result against Man United. They played some really attractive football tonight and their midfield three really bossed it.

But the record now is that Lampard lost his last three Super Cups as a player and manager at Chelsea.

Liverpool new sign- on Adrian guessed right and stopped Tammy Abrahams decisive kick to end it 5-4 for Liverpool.
