The member Representing Jos North ,Bassa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives ,Hon Haruna Maitala has advised the people of his constituency to be constructive in their criticism to enable him learn from his errors rather than engage in unnecessary condemnation.
Maitala gave the advice while inspecting ongoing projects in Jengre district of Pengana chiefdom of Bassa LGA which are almost 90 per cent completed.
He employed politician to exercise restrain in passing judgment to their representative, stating that dwindling economic situation across the globe due to lack of funds was affecting the completion of constituency projects.
Hon Haruna who embark on oversight of ongoing projects initiated by him as part of his campaign promises to the people of his constituency in company of the federal ministry of agriculture and rural development ,FMARD, said the construction of 2km Asphaltic Road and 1km earth road of Rimi village in Pengana chiefdom of Bassa LGA by Husune Housing & Estate ltd, was part of his projects for his people .
However, some of his projects which include 2km Jengre -Rimi road are still lagging and have brought economic hardship to the community during rainfalls as residents suffered untold difficulty in movement
Hon Haruna Maitala also visited Amo-Katako through Bingchi road which is 3km ongoing projects and contractor has been mobilized to site with heavy equipment grading the earth .
The teams also visited a completed Government Secondary School, Amo. It is ready for commissioning with modern learning faculties to boost academic activities and and the 1 km easy access road connecting the residential areas in Amo town .
Hon Haruna expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and assured the residents of the commissioning of all the ongoing projects and two science secondary schools each in Jos North ,Bassa Federal wards as a promise accomplish .
According to him, the people of his constituent should expect more dividends of democracy and meaningful development as a leader you most be criticized but it should be constructive .
The site engineer, Engr Abdulrahman idris, gave the member optimising as he promised to complete the road and handover for upward use before raining set in .
Engr idris said the work would be speeded and within three day would ready for commissioning ,adding that he receive overwhelming support from the host community .
He disclosed that they awarded the contract on the 08-08&2020 to Gulu engineering technical service Ltd with thickness of 4cm albasu .
He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done and prompt completion by site engineering firms and quality witness of all the contractors .
