Unai Emery, Paris St Germain coach has succeeded Arsene Wenger as Arsenal’s new manager, the Premier League club management said in a statement on Wednesday.
The 46 year old Emery is expected to worked the magic that landed him the job in terms of his performance at PSG, which he led to win Ligue 1 thrice, just as he helped Spanish side Sevilla to three Europa League titles.
“Unai has an outstanding track record of success throughout his career. He has also developed some of the best young talents in Europe and plays an exciting, progressive style of football that fits Arsenal perfectly. His hard work and passionate approach and his sense of value on and off the pitch make him the ideal person to take us forward,” Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis said in a statement.PSG
