The Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force have uncovered a baby factory located in Mowe in Owode Local Government of the state
The discovery followed the report of an inmate, who escaped from the ‘factory’ and told the police she was hired to produce babies for sale, according to Police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi.
The Police spokesperson said when the police stormed the building, they found able- bodied men who confessed they were contracted to sleep with the girls. The girls are between the ages of 20 to 25, with six of them already pregnant.
Owner of the ‘factory’ Florence Ogbonna and her accomplices, Chukwudi Okafor and Chizoba Okafor were arrested and the case transferred to the Child Trafficking Section of the Police for further investigation. The victims would be reunited with their families, Oyeyemi said.
