Plateau to Introduce Mobile Court For Illegal Tricyclists

The Ministry of Transport  in Plateau State according the Information and Communications Commissioner, Alhaji Mohammed Nazif, has disclosed plans to introduce mobile courts in Ahmadu Bello way for the trial of illegal tricycle riders around the terminus market .

Speaking to Journalists during his during the handing over notes ceremony between the old and new Commissioner for Transport held at the ministry of transport on Wednesday at the Joseph Gwomwalk secretariat, Nazif said government will organise an  interface to  dialogue with the leadership of tricycles owner’s to find turn ways of addressing lingering issue involving in their non compliance with tax payment.

He however expressed his appreciation working with the media during his first tenure before the dissolution of the cabinet and tasked journalists to accord him support during his second coming to the same ministry, stating that those he described as junk journalist tried to make his job hard even as he declared that it was all part of his job to work with all kinds of persons.

According to Nazif, the government will soon revisit other revenue yielding areas such as animals and radio license and veterinary permit on dogs as well as embark on apprehending those who allow their animals free movement without paying revenue to government.
