Pilgrim Board Refunds N12,500 Each  to  1,121 for Poor Service

No fewer than 1,121 people are to be refunded a total of N12,500 each for services not render to them during 2017 hajj for  intending Muslim pilgrim from Plateau state contingent.

The Acting Executive Secretary, Alh Haruna Abdul Zakari  made this disclosure in a press statement made available to our medium in Jos .

According to him ,the Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has  refunded  #23,934,388.65 to the 2017 pilgrims for service not rendered to  a total of 1121 pilgrims that performed the 2017 hajj. They will receive the sum of #12.500 each as refund, two pilgrims who could not perform the 2017 pilgrimage, over payment and Bank charges amounting to #9,775,684.75.

Calling on those affected to come with their e-passport and a photocopy of visa page as evidence, he said the exercise began on December 28,  at the boards’ headquarters in Jos.
