Nigerian Nollywood Actor, Hanks, Becomes A Ghanaian

Veteran actor, Hanks Anuku has cited  hardship in Nigeria because of unending crisis in the country, as his reason for quitting his country of birth and adopting Ghana where he had been hustling for some time after relocating his family to London.

He said he was going to remain in Ghana for the remaining part of his life. He has changed his name to Nana Kwame Fiifi Kakra Anuku.

Anuku who speaks with American accent in his films said he was born in Ibadan and attended Loyola College, Ibadan and Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, where he graduated in 1981 before he moved to the United States of America.

He returned to Nigeria and started an acting career with the aim to live the good life. But his return to Nigeria seems to have been a mistake, as his hopes for the good life appear to slip from his hands by the minutes.
