Tottenham vs Borussia Dortmund: Dortmund had over 70 per cent of possession at Wembley but trailed the host after a goal from Harry Kane and to Son Hueing-min’s own goal Yarmolenko scored for the visitors.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is poised to level things but it was Harry Kane second goal that made it an emphatic win for Tottenham against Borussia Dortmund to get their Champions League campaign off to a positive start and end their winless run at Wembley. It ended 3-1

Tottenham and Dortmund’s only previous encounter was in the last 16 of the 2015-16 Europa League. The German side won 5-1 on aggregate (3-0 in Germany, 2-1 in England), courtesy of three goals by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and two by Marco Reus.

Undeterred, Besitas piled the pressure and got a second in the 28th minute through Tosun’s grounder. The visitor’s had 45 per cent possession as against 55 per cent for the host. It ended 3-1 in favor of Besiktas.
