LG Boss Seeks Partnership With Leventis Foundation to Rebuild Destroyed Communities

The Chairman, Management Committee of Barakin Ladi Local Government Council, Hon. Ezekiel Mandyau led a delegation to Leventis Foundation in Abuja to seek partnership towards the rebuilding of destroyed communities and to enhance development in the Local Government Area.

Barr. Mandyau said Barakin Ladi being an agrarian area and worst hit by violent crisis, there is need for progressive and meaningful partnership to revamp it.

The Council boss reiterated the need for peaceful co-existence and harmonious living among the people in the area, arguing that no meaningful development can be achieved in a hostile environment and call on all to embrace unity and peace.

The management of Leventis Foundation who warmly received the delegation assured them it would look into the issues presented. The Foundation said it is ready for progressive partnership that will directly transform lives and the society.

Hon. Mandyau stated that the intervention being sought is in the area of rebuilding of road network and reconstruction of destroyed homes so that displaced persons affected by the crisis can be rehabilitated.
