Kidney Transplant: Kogi Lawmakers Promises Help To Citizen Onoja

Kogi State House of Assembly at its plenary has promised to assist in appealing to the state government to urgently come to the aid of Barrister Martins Onoja who has kidney problem.

This followed a matter of urgent public importance by Hon Haruna Idoko Musa, member representing Idah State Constituency in the House of Assembly, appealing to Kogi State government to help Barr Martins Onoja who is facing advanced kidney failure.

He said, Barr Martins Onoja hails from Igalamela /Odolu local government area of Kogi State who is about 59 years  and at one time served as member of Judicial Service Commission in the state.

The treatment, he said, requires kidney transplant which costs Ten million (10, 000,000,00) and requires three (3) times weekly dialysis and blood forming injections which costs about One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Naira (N 120, 000,00.

In his ruling on the matter of public importance raised by the member representing Idah Constituency and seconded by Hon Victor Omofaiye representing Ijumu constituency, the speaker opined that it is self explanatory that the necessary authority would be duly informed for urgent assistance to save life.
