The Centre for Human Rights and
Social Justice (CHRSJ) has called on the ailing President Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) to grant the request of the Ekiti State governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose to speak with him on phone.
The group stated that the call became crucial because Nigerians are skeptical about the health status of the President and speaking with the opposition would erase any such doubt.
In a statement signed by CHRSJ’s Executive Chairman, Comrade Adeniyi, Alimi Sulaiman, the group said:
“President Muhammadu Buhari should use all the available and open means to tell Nigerians that he is hail and hearty as the presidency has been telling Nigerians since his extended vacation in London. “
