Gov Poll: APC Wins Katsina, Ogun, PDP In Oyo As Bauchi Is Declared Inconclusive

The All Progressives Congress, APC,  incumbent governor of Katsina State,  Aminu Masari  has been re-elected for another four year term in office.

He polled 1,178,864 to defeat Peoples Democratic Party’s, PDP, Yakubu Danmarke who polled 488,621. In Ogun state,  Dapo Abiodun of the ruling party, also, polled 241,670 to beat his closest rival and incumbent governor Ibikunle Amosun’s candidate with the adopted party Allied Peoples Movement, APM, Abdulrazak Akinlade, who polled 222,153. Akinlade has rejected the result and promised to seek redress in court, alleging that security personnel tampered with results from some local governments.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate in Oyo state. Seyi Makinde has been declared winner of the state governorship election.The results from Balewa Local Government in Bauch state which the Election Officer claimed she was forced to declare by hoodlums before she came to the collation center in Bauchi is in dispute and has made INEC to declare the entire process inconclusive.
