COVID-19: FG Restricts International Flights To Lagos, Abuja Airports

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NACA, has issued a memo to all Nigerian operators and foreign operators flying into Nigeria that as from Monday, March 23 to April 23, all flights into Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, will be closed to international flights.

The flight suspension is coming on the heels of similar restrictions to Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu and Port Harcourt International Airport, PortHarcourt, effective Saturday 21, 2020.

The memo, dated Saturday 21, 2020 and signed by Captain Musa Nuhu, Director-General of the Agency, cleared emergency and essential flights into the country and directed all airlines to submit passenger manifest to Port  Health Authorities prior to arrival of flights into Nigeria.
