Buhari and Governor Simon Lalong
Twenty Five ( 25) different groups under the aegis of Buhari Campaign Organisation, (BCO) have assured the All Progressive Congress (APC) supporters of organising one million man march to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari during his one- day visit to the state.
Addressing the leaders the groups at the Ken Palace in Jos, the state capital on Monday, the National Coordinator of BCO, Alh Danladi Pasali assured his listeners that Mr President visit would be a home coming to the state.
“At least 500,000 people are to benefit from the anchor borrower scheme of President Buhari meant to eradicate poverty among vulnerable rural populace in Plateau state”, he said
According to him “all the groups under the BCO have endorsed the President and the Governor for the restoration of peace in the state and therefore men, women and the youths should come out massively and receive a man who have done us proud in bringing Nigeria back to the path of integrity and transparency.”
The Zonal Coordinator, Mr Johnson Podar and the state chapter coordinator Mr Komsol Longgap said the empowerment programmes Governor Lalong and President Buhari have started at the national and state levels is the reason both should re-contest in 2019 “ and remove any vacancy in Aso and Government House, Rayfield”.
Hon Theresa Azi also joined the group to drum up women support and endorsement of Lalong and Buhari in their re-election bid in 2019 general elections.
Azi noted that politicians should imbibe the spirit of transparency and accountability often displayed by Mr president in handling issues affecting the cooperate existence of the country and the thriving of democratic governance.
