Bello Consoles, NUJ, Kogi Radio Over Death of Staff

The Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has commiserated with the Management and staff of the Kogi State Broadcasting Cooperation (Radio Kogi), The Nigerian Union Of Journalists (NUJ), over  the sudden demise of Mr. Daniel Omachonu, the head of Current Affairs Department of the Radio Station.

The Governor also sends his sincere condolence to the family of the deceased.

The Governor’s message of condolence was contained in a statement released on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed.

Governor Bello described the late Broadcaster as  a dedicated professional whose wealth of experience contributed immensely in moving the Cooperation forward.

He affirmed that his wealth of experience and professionalism would be missed greatly in the State’s and Nigeria’s media terrain.

Governor Bello prayed that God should give his immediate and extended family the fortitude to bear the loss.

He stated that the late Daniel Omachonu has served well in his profession, as a civil servant and within the capacity he found himself and his legacies and services rendered would not be forgotten so soon.
