Kareem and Ekpata in a warm embrace after he proposed and she said Yes
Khafi Kareem. Remember her? The Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) housemate who abandoned her E30,000 job with the UK Police as an officer and jetted to Nigeria for the reality show which she participated in heart and head. She was evicted half way though but not after creating a sensation with her “lover” on the set when videos and videos emerged in which both smooched and had sex.
The good news is that Gedoni Ekpata has finally proposed marriage to Khafi Kareem,
Khafi eventually said “yes” to the marriage proposal.
The video of the proposal which appeared on Khafi’s twitter handle “@khafikareem” showed the BBNaija ex-housemates kissing and holding hands to the admiration of friends.
Gedoni had threw the question to his heartthrob on Christmas Day while they were on a vacation in Cape Verde.
The lovebirds had shown interest in each other during the 2019 BBNaija reality show.
Khafi had once expressed hope that Gedoni would propose marriage to her at the end of the reality show during a conversation with fellow ex-housemate, Omashola. She was so confident of herself that she was able to fob off criticisms, even from her employers in UK who said she did not obtain proper permission and gave her tome to reports for work or face sanctions. She persisted. At the end, she has had her hearts desire. She won the show after all.
