Speaking on the on-going renovations at the stadium, .the commissioner, who assured that the job would be completed in the next two months, described sports as a money-yielding venture.

Nwanganga said sports development had been slow in the state due to lack of facilities and training equipment, adding that the government had taken steps to address the challenges.

The one time chairman of Enyimba International FC, Aba used the forum to solicit the cooperation of the chapter for the ministry and government.

Earlier in his address, the Chairman of the chapter Vincent Obike said the visit was part of the ceremony marking the 55th anniversary of the association across the country.
